Our Story
Co-Founders Mike Newsome and Tom Healing have worked at the forefront of the events industry for a combined three decades, witnessing firsthand the complexities and pressures businesses face organising crucial corporate events.
Both in their time collaborating and working separately across the events industry, Mike and Tom had a shared realisation that their clients weren’t used to getting the experience they deserved. Rather than buzzwords and overcomplicated proposals, clients were refreshed to receive clarity, reliability, and a genuine partnership with their event planners.
Having worked together previously, honing their skills and delivering numerous exceptional events, Mike and Tom decided it was time to bring the band back together. Together, the Newling team brings a creative vision for transforming brand narratives into compelling experiences, coupled with an unparalleled talent for logistics and challenge-solving.

is an established Event & Project Manager with a background in facilitating B2B events for a range of partners.
Beginning his career at Revolution Events, Mike’s passion for the industry grew alongside his skills, leading him into various events management roles at a variety of high-profile organisations. Namely, Mike spent time at The Ardonagh Group and Towergate Insurance, where he worked closely with Tom Healing.
Mike’s two decades of experience in both agency and corporate environments has given him a sprawling knowledge of strategic execution, logistics, and a mastery of all things event and project, management.
After setting out on a journey to set up his own project, MNPE Ltd, Mike found his vision for a world-class events management agency coincided with his friend, former colleague, and Newling Events Co-Founder, Tom Healing.

is an Event Manager with a broad range of experience across various agency and corporate roles, specialising in event production, venue sourcing, and building relationships with his clients.
Having cut his teeth studying Events Management, Tom followed a similar path to Mike when he moved into his first professional role at Revolution Events. Tom quickly proved to be a talented Event Manager, coordinating numerous successful corporate events, conferences, and award dinners.
Tom’s career journey brought him together with Mike Newsome at both The Ardonagh Group and Towergate Insurance, where they became excellent collaborators. Fast forward, and with over a decade of experience, Tom’s many achievements in the events industry were recognised by Conference News, inducting him into the 30 Under 30 class of 2019.
Established as a leading events manager at numerous high-profile organisations, Tom’s ambition to create the best-in-class events management agency led to him launching Newling Events with his previous collaborator and friend, Co-Founder, Mike Newsome.
