The Brief
Footman James appointed Newling Events to support the delivery of one of its flagship Coffee & Chrome events at the iconic Prescott Hill Climb. Coffee & Chrome is a community-driven series of events that brings together classic, vintage and enthusiast vehicles, giving owners and visitors the opportunity to connect over a shared passion for motoring in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
The brief was to deliver a safe, professionally managed event that enhanced the visitor experience while maintaining the informal atmosphere that has made Coffee & Chrome such a popular fixture in the automotive calendar.
Working closely with the Footman James team, Newling Events was responsible for coordinating key elements of the event, including venue management, branded event collateral, entertainment, catering and onsite operations. Our team also undertook site visits in advance of the event, working with venue partners and suppliers to ensure every aspect of the day was carefully planned and ready for delivery.
The Outcome
Held at the renowned Prescott Hill Climb, the event welcomed 350 attendees and showcased an impressive 312 classic and enthusiast vehicles, creating a vibrant celebration of automotive culture.
Newling Events coordinated the operational delivery of the event, ensuring all suppliers worked seamlessly together on the day. This included managing two specialist coffee vendors, arranging complimentary bacon rolls for attendees, booking live entertainment and overseeing the installation of branded event collateral to create a consistent Footman James experience throughout the venue.
Safety remained a key priority, with Newling working alongside St John Ambulance to ensure appropriate medical provision and event safety measures were in place. Through detailed planning, site visits and onsite management, the event ran smoothly from arrival through to departure, allowing guests to enjoy a relaxed day of networking, conversation and exceptional vehicles.
The result was another successful Coffee & Chrome event that strengthened the Footman James community, delivered an outstanding experience for attendees and reinforced the brand's commitment to supporting the UK's classic and enthusiast car scene.
