The Brief
Following the success of ACT: A Retrospective, the Ardonagh Community Trust wanted to take its story beyond a single exhibition space and bring it directly to colleagues across the UK and Republic of Ireland. The ambition was to create a travelling experience that would inspire employees to engage with the Trust, learn about its impact, and discover the many ways they could get involved in supporting causes close to their hearts.
Newling Events was appointed to transform this vision into a nationwide roadshow, planning and delivering a seven-week tour visiting 18 locations across the UK and ROI.
Our team managed every aspect of the tour logistics, including sourcing a bespoke double-decker exhibition bus, coordinating the full vehicle branding, designing and installing the onboard exhibition, and carefully planning each stop on the route. This involved detailed site planning, parking permissions, access requirements, power provision, local authority liaison and close collaboration with venues across the tour.
Alongside the planning phase, the Newling team also provided onsite support at selected locations, ensuring each activation ran smoothly and consistently while maintaining the highest standard of visitor experience.
The Outcome
Over seven weeks, ACT : On Tour successfully travelled thousands of miles, bringing the Ardonagh Community Trust directly to employees in 18 locations throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland. The bespoke exhibition bus became a highly visible centrepiece at each stop, encouraging colleagues to step aboard, explore the Trust's story and learn more about the positive impact ACT has made since its inception.
The carefully planned route ensured every location was fully operational on arrival, with seamless coordination of access, parking, power and site logistics. Through meticulous planning and proactive supplier management, the tour maintained consistency across every stop despite the complexities of operating a moving exhibition across multiple countries.
The exhibition successfully showcased the incredible work of the Ardonagh Community Trust through immersive displays, storytelling and interactive experiences, helping colleagues connect with the charity in a meaningful way while reinforcing its mission of creating positive change in communities around the world.
